WWF is the world’s leading non-governmental conservation organization – and works for wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.

Since 2013, WWF has run a friendly annual competition and international campaign called We Love Cities, which is designed to inspire public engagement by encouraging people around the world to express their support for sustainable urban development.

We Love Cities invites citizens to vote for their favorite city, based on the city’s environmental and sustainability efforts and commitments.

Janet has supported WWF in the We Love Cities campaign for several years by writing marketing material as well as the city profiles for the We Love Cities competition – between 70 and 90 individual city profiles each year. Based on information and statistics supplied by an independent research agency, each city profile gives a short and enthusiastic pitch for why people should vote for just this city.
