Konst/ig Books is Scandinavia’s leading art bookstore. Founded in 1994, the company now operates a store in the Södermalm district in Stockholm, plus an online store for domestic and international sales. The bookstore is well known for its expertly curated selection of titles within the subjects of art, architecture, photography, design and fashion, as well as artists’ books and rare and limited editions. It also hosts and produces events at the store – performances, lectures, book releases and discussions. Konst/ig has been featured in many international trade publications as well as in the general press, including in the New York Times in “36 hours in Stockholm.”
Janet has worked as communication partner to Konst/ig Books since the company was founded, collaborating with internal and external partners on all marketing and press material, catalogues and newsletters. She also worked closely with Konst/ig and its design and programming team on the concept, structure and content of the online bookstore, konstigbooks.com, which contains both regularly updated new titles and an extensive database of backlists.
